DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the annual Dragon Boat Race and Asian Festival! The event features dragon boat racing on the CT River, Asian entertainment, martial arts demonstrations, a table tennis tournament, educational cultural booths, Asian cuisine, Asian games for kids and much more. More information about this community event can be found on www.dragonboathartford.com \nPaddlers Needed!  \n\nCome enjoy the waters and join your fellow NAAAP members and their families in this fun filled community event! Two practices will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 5:00pm to 6:15pm and 6:30pm to 7:45pm. Your attendance to at least one team practice is highly encouraged. Please contact us ASAP with your preferences on t-shirt size. Orders will be taken until Wednesday, August 11, 2010 (otherwise you're getting a standard Large!). Please email our team boat captain, Jean Lo at jean@naaapct.org for more details on registration and practice locations. The race is an all day event and team dinner (optional) will be organized after 4pm.
