On Friday, February 11, the 2011 NAAAP Annual Membership Recognition & Lunar New Year Celebration Dinner took place at the Pond House in West Hartford and saw a terrific turnout with over one-hundred attendees present. NAAAP-CT hosted the dinner banquet to recognize individuals with outstanding contributions and for its members and corporate partners to celebrate the great occasion together. The event included keynote speakers and cultural performances. Ms. Jae Junkunc, the event’s guest speaker from MassMutual, delivered a speech on “Diversity and Leadership”, sharing her insights and personal experiences on being a leader and building diversity. Members from Asian Performing Arts showcased several cultural performances promoting awareness on Chinese cultural arts. The Recognition & Celebration Dinner offered a glimpse to the tremendous progress made by the past Leadership Teams. Also it served as a great opportunity to introduce the 2011 Leadership Team and for the new team to engage NAAAP members for their collaborative efforts on future events, and to strengthen their connections to and support for the organization.
