Thursday, December 9th, 2010, marked NAAAP-CT's end of the year community service event. We were able to support and give back to our community once again by participating in a holiday decoration project at Peter's Retreat, a home to many patients who live with HIV/AIDS. As a result of this community service event, we were able to decorate and put up Christmas trees in the library, the kitchen, the TV room, and the main hallway.
It was a success thanks to all of our volunteers for their time and diligence. The residents here at Peter's Retreat now can enjoy a warm and happy holiday season.
Special thanks to Brittany at Hands On Hartford for coordinating our work together with their project!
