On June 29, 2010 – NAAAP Connecticut hosted ‘Is this the Right Time for Grad School?’ a graduate school panel discussion with six deans from diverse programs. The event, sponsored by the Yale Divinity School and Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, gave attendees an opportunity to hear from and interact with the following admission deans: Ms. Anna Ramirez (Yale Divinity School & Yale University), Dr. Cesarina Thompson (Southern CT State University), Dr. Sheila Dunn (Albertus Magnus College), Dr. Lee Allen Aggison, Jr. (University of Connecticut), Dr. Jamie Gomez (Eastern CT State University) and Ms. Marianne Gumpper (Fairfield University).
The discussion was facilitated by Socheata Poeuv (Director of Programs) with topics ranging from the admission process, benefits of graduate education, diversity, test preparation strategies to financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
